High-Efficiency Helical Coil Heat Exchangers for Compact Thermal Systems
Tube Tech® SpiroSwirl™ Coil-in-Shell units feature precision-formed helical coils housed inside a robust shell, engineered to deliver superior heat transfer in compact footprints.
The swirling flow path increases turbulence, enhances thermal exchange and minimizes fouling - making them ideal for high-performance heating, cooling and process applications. These highly Efficient Liquid to Refrigerant Heat Exchangers can be used in any application where air or water must be heated or cooled.

Example: SP05-CuPYDC is a 5 TR SpiroSwirl™ Coil-in-Shell with copper tubes, plain internal surface, 19.05 mm tube diameter, double coil rows and an accumulator.
Yes. The same compact design works as a water-cooled condenser or as an evaporator (water chiller), depending on how it is connected in the system.
It is rated for R22, R134a, R407C and R410A. On the water side it works with domestic water, ground water and glycol antifreeze solutions.
Standard models run from 1 TR to 15 TR, with heating capacity from 3.5 kW to 54 kW and cooling capacity from 2.5 kW to 42 kW. Custom coil and shell configurations are available on request.
The refrigerant (shell) side is rated up to 50 bar and the water (coil) side 6 to 10 bar. Every unit is pressure tested after assembly, and the design follows ASME Section VIII, IS 2825 and EN 13445.
Yes. Typical uses include water-source and air-source heat pumps, industrial chillers, computer room and data center cooling, heat recovery, hot water generators and marine condensing units.
The coil is made from copper (Cu-DHP) or cupronickel (90/10 or 70/30) low-fin tubes, with or without internal grooves. The shell is carbon steel. The water coil is continuous, with no internal joints.
For example, SP05-CuPYDC means a 5 TR SpiroSwirl™ unit with copper tubes, plain internal surface, 19.05 mm tube diameter, double coil rows and an accumulator. The full guide is shown below the performance table.
