Cupro Nickel Tubes
Tube Tech produces a vast range of cupro nickel tubes to
satisfy all customer requirements in terms of outer diameter, wall thickness
and tempers to suit the intended applications. The cupro nickel tubes are
available in a variety of combinations, the main combinations manufactured
by Tube Tech are:
Our range of cupro nickel tubes are :
This alloy has very high erosion and corrosion resistance. It has very high
weld ability, easy for installation and high antifouling properties against
sea microorganisms. Relatively high iron content provides better impingement
attack resistance. The alloy is unique to stress corrosion cracking. This
form of copper alloy gives the best service life under the most adverse
conditions.

» Cupro Nickel Tubes 90/10 |
This form of cupro nickel tubes
produced by Tube Tech possess excellent resistance to corrosion by sea
water as well as high resistance to erosion corrosion and
air-impingement attack. The addition of iron results in 90/10 performing
as good as 70/30 in salt water service heat exchangers. These tubes have
good strength and ductility at ordinary temperatures and relatively high
strength and other mechanical properties at elevated temperatures.
These cupro nickel tubes are widely used in condensers, coolers and
heat exchangers where resistance to corrosion and erosion is paramount,
yet maintaining a high thermal conductivity rate. To be used preferably
in marine conditions. Forms a protective film which is multi-layered in
flowing seawater. Resists marine bifouling.
These cupro nickel tubes are produced in a range of outside diameter,
wall thickness various temper conditions to achieve the required
mechanical properties and grain size. The mechanical and dimensional
characteristics of our products satisfy the most demanding orders that
require tight tolerances. |

» Cupro Nickel Tubes 70/30 |
Tube Tech produces smooth bore
70/30 cupro nickel tubes of the highest standard, rigorously tested to
make sure they are suitable for the exacting requirement of condensers
and heat exchangers. These cupro nickel tubes have the highest
resistance to stress-corrosion cracking. These tubes are available in a
variety of outside diameter, wall thickness and tempers to meet the
requirement. Superior dimensional control with specified mechanical
properties offers trouble free performance and cost saving.
This form of cupro nickel tube gives the best service life under the
most adverse conditions because of improved corrosion resistance and
almost insensitive to stress corrosion. These cupro nickel tubes are
used in heat exchangers where severe erosion and corrosion have been
experienced, especially at elevated temperatures, high velocities and
extreme turbulence of the circulating media. These cupro nickel tubes
have an important bearing not only on the performance of heat exchangers
but also on the cost and delivery cycle time of the condenser and heat
exchangers where they are used. |

Fin Tubes
Tube Tech has excelled in providing high quality
integral low copper fin tubes suitable for the situations which require
extended surface but the space availability and type of heat exchanger
dictate otherwise because of their enhanced surface fin tubes provide better
heat transfer performance which allows our customers to either reduce the
size of the heat exchanger or increase its performance. Fin tubes are
available in tube diameters of 15.88 mm, 19.05 mm & 25.4 mm with wall
thickness of 1.00 mm and above. The fin density ranges from 19 fins per inch
to 26 fins per inch. The copper fin tube we manufacture are designed to meet
the most efficient and durable thermal performance for the most challenging
situations and long lasting service life. Depending upon the specific
requirement tube ends as well as a portion on its middle may be left
unfinned for fixing the tube on the tube plate as shown in figures 1 &
2.

Copper Fittings
We offer wide range of copper fittings which provide an
economic and efficient method of changing directions in a wide spectrum of
domestic and commercial applications ranging from air conditioning,
refrigeration, heating, fluid distribution, air pressure lines and plumbing
etc. Our fittings have no rough surfaces, present a neat appearance, heat
more rapidly and provide better flexibility to the installer to install and
join the copper tube at appropriate place. We manufacture copper fittings in
a variety of standard sizes between 6.00mm and 42.00mm. The sizes are
measured inside diameter (I.D). The most commonly used copper fittings
manufactured by Tube Tech are grouped as under.
Elbows
Used to change the direction of the pipe and have a close radius to fit in
the tightest possible space. The most commonly used elbows are 90 and 45
radius elbow. Many other varieties are available for specific requirements.
U Bends
Used to accommodate the return flow of the coolant and provides a 180 turn
in a much smaller space. We manufacture both expanded as well as plain
u-bends for condensers and evaporators.
Couplings
Used to connect two identical size tubes together. The coupling used to
connect two pipes of different diameter is called a reducing coupling.
Tee
Tee is a fitting in the shape of a 'T' where the top of it is the
continuous pipe run and the vertical section is a branch connected to it.
This shape of fittings offers the most varieties than any other type.
- It may be a reducing Tee when one end of the section is of
smaller diameter that means unlike a standard Tee the reducing Tee
do not have equally sized parts.
- It may be a cross Tee when it is used to connect four tubes or a
threaded Tee when the vertical section of it has female threads.
